Nate Bartlett

I am a proprietor at Harvey Norman Computers Booval. My experience over 10 years, 4 stores & 3 states, has equipped me with strong leadership skills, effective task management and work collaboratively with others. I coach American football, which has taught me the importance of discipline, strategy, and teamwork. I have been involved in similar Presidential positions across many clubs. My passion for local sports stems from having a strong sense of community, creating a lasting impact and fostering a positive, inclusive environment where all members can thrive. My focus is on growing the grassroots of our club, particularly the juniors. I want to work to provide more pathways for our young athletes. It's apparent that this focus has been lost, and it needs to be our priority.

Justine Cooke

As the General Sales Manager of River 94.9 I value all relationships through connecting community, localism, growth and inclusiveness. Specialising in positive outcomes for all stakeholders both internally and with partnerships of the organisation. Communication with transparency is key to the successful growth of the stadium facilities, teams and members, sponsorships and partnerships.

Angelique Rhodes

Currently I am the President of the Lockyer Valley Basketball Association and am a founding Committee member of this organisation which commenced in 2016. I am passionate about the sport and believe that this sport has so much to offer children in the Ipswich region. I am well aware of the challenges facing basketball associations and believe that the IBA has so much to offer to the basketball and local community. I am an experienced bookkeeper and offer my time and energy to seeing the Association reach its full potential in delivering a safe, high quality and enduring sporting experience to our community.

Andrew Fechner

My background in local government equips me with a strong understanding of governance and financial management, essential for guiding the association towards its goals. My experience as a business owner has honed my team leadership, problem solving and communication skills, all of which are crucial for supporting the association’s operations and growth. I am committed to fostering a collaborative environment and building strong relationships with members and advocates, ensuring that the association can effectively serve the community and promote the sport of basketball in Ipswich. My dedication to integrity, inclusivity, and community well-being aligns with the values of the IBA, and I am excited by the opportunity to join the management committee.

Tanja Steed

I am a local basketball coach and a past semi pro (Bundaberg Bears) player who is passionate about the sport and keen to help our junior players get involved with basketball. Personally, I want to see girls develop into the sport that I love and more importantly I want to see that IBA Inc grows into a genuine, transparent and financially viable organisation that delivers high quality basketball programs to the local community.

Nick Elvidge

I am a local basketball player and coach and a current member of the Association playing in the senior men’s division. I am concerned about the direction that IBA is taking and believe that we need to do so much more to deliver high quality sporting programs to our community. I am concerned about the quality of the facility, the quality of referee’s and the lack of service and transparency currently being offered to IBA members. I wish to contribute my time, energy and effort to grow the sport of basketball in the Ipswich region and ensure that IBA reaches its full potential.
